Becoming a member

  1. Membership in the Association is open to any individual who professes an interest in Algonquian languages and communities.
  2. An individual becomes a Member upon applying for membership (using the Membership Form) and having their application approved and registered by the Association.

Remaining and ceasing to be a member

Such requests are to be communicated by the medium, and to the electronic address, last notified to the Treasurer.
  3. Membership of an individual may also be terminated for a serious or repeated breach of the Association’s Statement of Principles, according to a Policy to be specified by the Association.
